When Sophia confides in Amber about the magical powers that her amulet possesses, Amber becomes jealous and tries to take the amulet as her own. This act of dishonesty aids in the appearance of Princess Ivy whom takes the amulet from Amber. Princess Ivy plans on using the amulets power to take over the kingdom. Can Sophia and Amber to work together to retrieve amulet and save Enchancia?
This movie not only brings Sophia fans on a magical journey, but has some very good moral lessons to teach and the children absolutely loved it. The kids had the opportunity to watch the premier, but also did crafts and Chick-Fil-A provided a Royal Sundae bar where the children were able to pick their own toppings. The children went home with tiaras and posters and huge smiles on their faces.
Didn't make it to the premier? No worries! You can watch Sophia the First : The Curse of Princess Ivy from the comfort of your own couch. Tune in to the Disney Channel on Sunday, November 23rd at 6:00 PM CST. I would recommend setting your DVR for this one. Once your child watches it once, I bet they are going to want to see it again.
